ABOUT US

The Centre for Resources in Energy Efficiency and Climate Change is a non-profit association founded in 2014 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, as a response to the need of integrating technical and economic solutions dedicated to energy consumption reduction and climate change adaptation.

The evolution and dynamics of global energy market and their consequences regarding the environment’s quality approaches an enhancement of the objectives towards energy and greenhouse gases reduction, both on new legal requirements level and voluntary actions from the private sector.

Even though the Romanian energy efficiency market is dynamic, it does not succeed to maximize technical solution in integrated projects, resulting in decrease of the energy savings potential.

This is where CREESC concept gets involved, aiming at fostering and facilitating the dialogue between the actors on energy efficiency sector. Besides, it put forward a database of resources regarding the evolution of public policies, technological innovations and opportunities for research, collaboration and financing, connected to this sector.

Mission

Our mission is to actively contribute to achieving local and national targets and objectives for reducing the energy consumption and the effects generated by climate change.

Vision

A balanced development of the economic activity in relation to its environment through facilitation and implementation of innovative solutions which are adapted to the actual context. We wish that the Romanian energy efficiency sector to be developed based on solid and sustainable principles, by means of active collaboration between the public sector, private companies and research centres. CREESC platform facilitates this step through extension of integrated services which will ensure the energy performance of investments.

Our objectives are:

Easing the dialogue and collaboration between the public sector, experts, private companies and research centres.
Building-up partnerships between construction and installation services providers, energy efficiency experts and companies from areas connected to financial, legal and administrative services.
Advertising innovative pilot projects in public buildings, public lighting and industry, in order to attract the interest of authorities and financers from energy efficiency sector.
Develop a database for information and consultation resources regarding the evolution of energy efficiency technologies and investments.
Technical assistance for public authorities, through development of strategies for optimization and prioritization of investment portfolios.
Identifying financing sources, promoting market instruments, identifying innovative financial instruments.
Engagement in national and international research projects and collaboration with similar organisations in order to consolidate and expand our area of expertise.

DENEFF

DENEFF unites front-runner companies in the field of energy efficiency to collectively represent their political interests for an effective and ambitious energy efficiency regulation in Germany. DENEFF is ramping up its political activities with focus on energy efficiency in the buildings sector as well as industrial processes.

TRANSYLVANIA EVOLUTION

Transylvania Evolution represents a private initiative dedicated to the growth and business partner-matching, providing tailored solutions to local and foreign investors, for a coherent long term consolidation and development of city of Cluj-Napoca and Transylvania Region.
